Happy Monday friends! I hope this Monday is a great one for you! Today I am sharing our Christmas Wreath stamp set. This is one of my favorite sets with an extra large wreath that takes centerstage. It is a great one as well to practice blending and watercoloring. I also have a digi stamp set below.
Christmas Wreath Digital Stamp Set contains two wreathes to color. One with a light grey outline for a no line coloring effect and the other image has a rich black outline. I have also added two “joy” sentiments. This sentiment is extra large and can be watercolored or colored with pencils and I have provided a light grey outline so you can color over the sentiment. Both of these wreaths are already sized to fit the front of your card so you do not need to worry about resizing.
I am also having a Christmas Sale this week! Take 15% off ALL Christmas Stamp sets, ribbon, sequins etc! This sale will continue until November 15th.
Recently, I purchased Prismacolor Pencils and have been practicing with them so I can do a new video tutorial. These pencils are certainly a different then my polychromos and I am excited to share some new artwork using them. To begin this card, I printed out my image using the Digital stamp with light grey and Strathmore Pencil Paper.
I am using four different green pencils for my leaves. For more on how I blend with pencils check out my Sunflower Classroom tutorial. I then colored each berry using a mixture of reds and also some cream pencils. Finally, I used my Mini Misti and stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Wreath stamp set.
My second card I am using watercolors on Arches Hot Press Paper. I printed this image again out onto the Arches Paper. I was excited to see that paper fed through the printer! I then watercolored each leaf with different shades of green. You can see all the watercolors I use in this post.
Finally, I colored each berry with the same technique as used in my Single Rose Tutorial. I used Stickles Champagne for my little glitter dots and stamped my sentiment from the Christmas Wreath Stamp Set.
Both of my cards were adhered onto Kraft paper and then white 110gsm white cardstock using Tombow adhesive.
I hope that you have enjoyed today’s cards! I will be back later this week with some more cards. I had a little sneaky peek on my Instagram page of lots of cards to share this month!
With crafty love and hugs, Joanna xoxo
