Hey everyone! I’m back today with a new card. Today I am featuring Big Thanks stamp set in my quest to go through all of my stamp sets! You can check out all the cards I have created already here! Next up is Big Wonderful and I also will be visiting Autumn Blessings & Autumn Harvest now that it is starting to feel a bit more like Autumn.
Our Big Thanks stamp set is our Featured set of the week! You can grab this stamp set for only $5! Sale ends on Sunday.
My first card today uses the little flowers in this stamp set and some Distress Inks. You can check out how I color with distress inks here on this video tutorial.
I then cut out two circle dies. I stamped my Kraft paper one with Versamark to create a subtle floral background. I then used my Mini Misti to stamp the “thank you” sentiment from this set. This light blue bow can be found in our Christmas Ribbon Collection. Finally I added some sequins and some stickles.
I have finally purchased the Distress Oxides and I am so happy with them! They are so similar to gouache and I can’t wait to create a bit more with them. But today, I wanted to see if I could watercolor with them and created this circle background. The worked beautifully! I will be back with many more cards using these!
My polka dot paper is from our Vintage Floral Paper Pad and I also added some crochet trim as well. I then stamped my sentiment with my Mini Misti. I love how the Misti helps line up the “s” and turns thank into “thanks”. 🙂 Finally I added a bow and also some pearls to finish my card.
I will be back here on Friday with a little sneak peek of our newsletter freebie! It’s one that has been requested in our Facebook Artist Page! If you haven’t signed up to our newsletter you can do so here!
See you then! Have a great rest of your week!
With paper hugs and love, Joanna xo
