Happy Die Cut

Hello my sweet friends! Today we are introducing Happy Stamp Set & coordinating Happy Die Cut!. This is such a fun and great sentiment stamp set to add to your collection. I added a few extra special sentiments so that our happy wouldn’t be too traditional. 🙂 This 4×6 set comes with 21 sentiments and I have created a happy sentiment die to go along with this great set! Super Fun!

I am so excited to share a few cards using this fabulous stamp set. 🙂

A few weeks ago on my personal Instagram page, I challenged myself to go through all my stamps from A-Z and create a card with them! So today, I have my first two sets to share with you, our Australian Birds and Australian Nature I stamp sets.

I stamped this beautiful bird with Antique Linen and then colored it with watercolors on Arches Hot Press Paper. I typically stamp all my images on cards stock and in the evening in front of the television, I sit and color. I love coloring and it is so relaxing. I will have to share how I do it on my Instagram page so you can see my set up. 🙂

After, I finished coloring my bird, I simply added some burlap/hessian and some wood paper for a more masculine feel.

I originally had my sentiments stamped in the front but I felt it took away from the beauty of my bird. So I moved them to the inside of my card and LOVE it. I adore how the “happy” die cut just takes centerstage even in the inside of my card!

Here’s my second card! And this time it is using our Australian Nature I stamp set. I adore these orchids in this stamp set. I am using zig clean brush pens to color this image and the background as well. I love Bristol Vellum cardstock with markers! You must try this! The marker doesn’t absorb and moves around a bit more on the paper before it dries. This leaves you time to color and play with the inks!

After coloring my orchids, I grabbed the new Happy Stamp Set and stamped the images with my Misti! I love my Misti! I had to stamp this three times to give it the rich black color. I adore the font in this stamp set and the multiple sentiments that go with the happy.

I hope you have enjoyed my cards today. I will be back in a few days with a new video tutorial. I will be showcasing Background Basics Lines (it’s the next set in my series) and a new tutorial! I am up to B in the A-Z countdown and I hope you will love what I have in store for you.

Now onto our designers. They have AMAZING inspirations to share with you! Each designer truly showcases such amazing cards today.  So if you love CAS or love coloring, you will find it in our blog hop today!

Gorgeous colouring, as always, Joanna, I especially love the orchid one!!
I wouldn’t have thought of using it in that layout, very clever, but do love my tombows on Vellum which I would imagine to be bit like zigs.
    Thanks for inpsiring us,
