Hello and welcome to day 2 of our July release! We are so happy you are joining us! If you missed yesterdays new stamp and die, click here! Today, I am super excited to introduce our Summer Bouquet stamp set. This set is a 4×6 size stamp set. When drawing this stamp set, I made sure that it would fit onto a 4″ base card stock. So it will fit perfectly on your cardstock and take centerstage as a beautiful bouquet of flowers on your card. Everything has been hand drawn by me. I have a few other floral bouquets that I will be releasing very soon as well. 🙂
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen me outside on the deck coloring away these gorgeous flowers! Super fun to take these with you and color while traveling as well. 🙂 I began by stamping the image on Arches Hot Press Watercolor Paper with Antique Linen Distress ink. I then grabbed my watercolors and started coloring. You can see all my favorite art supplies that I use on this page!
After coloring my images, I then added some details with a black waterproof pen and stamped my sentiment using a Mini Misti.
With my second card today, I wanted to show you how this gorgeous bouquet takes centerstage on its own. To produce the no line edges to perfectly, I used Antique Linen but then stamped the image first on scrap paper before stamping onto my watercolor paper. This created a super light image. Here again, I am using watercolor paints to color the bouquet.
For my finishing touches, I used a black waterproof pen and also one of the lovely sentiments from this stamp set. I hope you have enjoyed today’s cards! My designers have some amazing cards to share with you as well. Each designer is truly showcasing an amazing range of ideas on how you can use this set, even if coloring isn’t your favorite thing to do. So make sure you hop along below and see all their gorgeous designs!
