Hi, Henriëtte here today. Welcome at the inspired by stamping blog!
Today I’m sharing a soap gift box.
There is a piece of lili of the valley soap in it and the Lily of the valley stamp set is perfect for my gift box.
First off, I measured the soap and made a box in a online free template maker.
I printed out the box and the lit and made the box using pink cardstock and my scorpal.
I used watercolor paper to stamp the lily of the valley flower and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
With distress markers, ink and a waterbrush I colored in the stamp.
Using the lit template I cut out the shape, scored the lines with my scorpal and I glued it together.
Finally I made a little tag using the smallest of the fancy label die. I heat embossed a part of the lily of the valley stamp with clear embossing powder and stamped the sentiment with memento black ink. The sentiment is part of the lily of the valley stamp set.
Before placing the soap in the box I wrapped it in pink tissue paper and wrapped some purple/white twine around it. I used the same twine to wrap around the box and attach the tag to.
I hope you are inspired by my gift soap box. It’s a nice way to give a present to a friend and you could even make your own soap to put in the box.
Thanks for stopping by.
