Hello crafty friends! We’d like to say a huge thank you to Vinita for being our guest designer and sharing with us some beautiful cards! Here is Vinita’s last blog post with us….
Vinita here from India with my another GDT post for this month! So thrilled to be here again!
First look at the card:
Can you believe I made my own background pattern using a single outlined polka dot stamp 🙂
Now for the steps how to do:
Firstly I drew a grid on my white CS, then I stamped the circles in soft pink ink to create the pattern using MISTI, it made my work more easy for the symmetry! Have a look:
Now rub the pencil lines carefully.
The next step is:
I stamped the floral image on a vellum sheet in clear embossing ink, heat embossed it using metallic gold rich pale and coloured it with my chalk colours, fussy cut it.
And adhered it on a separate fussy cut white CS (otherwise it reflecting with the BG pattern).
Then I die cut a Fancy label out of white CS and one from designer pink dotted thick vellum sheet. I embossed the same label on strawberry pink CS and fussy cut it. Then I adhered the label on my patterned panel and covered the top layer of the label with half of the designer vellum label. Now stamped the sentiment in the same ink. I clear embossed the half stamped panel 4 times for the gloss.
Then using glossy accents I covered it with frosted sugar powder.
Now adhered my panel on a strawberry pink CS and then my card base ( but before adhering the panel tied it with a gorgeous pink coloured ribbon. Now using adhesive foam dots I adhered my Cherry blossoms using pop dots with dimension.
Now embellished it with some half adhesive pearls.
Hope, I inspired you!
