Hi All – Vicki here. Today I am showing you how to make the following 2 cards;
I started with using masking paper and cut out a heart image. Set aside.
On my card panel, I stamped the Love You using distress inks. Because these inks are “wet”, you can go to directly embossing with clear ink.
Lay the sticky masking template over the sentiment, tape off any white of the panel that is still showing [so it doesn’t get ink on it], and again, using distress inks, sponge on your color. I did use 3 different inks for this. Another benefit to distress inks is how well they blend.
I cut down my panel, added a red border and some sequins, and adhered onto my card base.
While the above card is stamped, you can also just add the Love die over your heart.
To get the partial inking, I leave the die cut in the negative space and sponge on my ink.
Here are the 2 finished cards again.
See you next time!
