Hello paper crafting peeps and welcome to today’s blog post.
Today’s card is all about adding faux texture with markers in and around stamped images.

I have used an array of markers that are die and permanent based.

The ink of choice for the stamped images is Versafine Onyx Black Ink.

The stampsets used is the new Love Sentiments & Butterflies.

Each image has been stamped on water coloured cardstock and coloured in with Fabre Castell watercolour pencils by using an aqua brush.

I have used a light blue colour wash around each butterfly stampset image which I then used a black Gelly Roll pen to add some dots all around.

The “love” sentiment has been stamped with versafine Onyx Black Ink. The add-on sentiment has been heat embossed with white embossing powder on black cardstock.

The edge of the front water coloured cardstock panel has been faux stitched with black pen and lightly sponged with hickory distress ink to add a slight shade. The panel is mounted on a black cardstock layer then mounted a white top folding card base.

To finish the card off I have added some glossy accents on the solid black small butterflies.
