Hello and welcome to Day 2 of our January 2017 Inspiration week. This week we are releasing 2 new stamp sets and a new sentiment die cut. All our stamp sets are available now in our store and also at some of your favorite stores!
Love Sentiments is another great addition to our Inspired by Stamping sentiment collection! We love this 4×6 stamp set that allows you to mix and match sentiments. You will see some amazing designs from our designers on today’s hop filled with so many great ideas!
It’s our first Love Sentiment die and boy are we excited here at our store! This is the first I am sure of many more to come! This die fits perfectly on your card base and is only $3.75!
We are also offering a new Love Sentiments Bundle! For a limited time we are offering both stamp set and die at a 10% discount. Scroll down for a few more items that have been released this week as well!
My first card features the new die, stamp set and our Cherry Blossoms stamp set! Oh my do I ever love gouache and the gorgeous images it produces on Kraft cardstock! It is so lovely and vibrant! One of the keys with coloring with gouache is to use a black waterproof marker on the small detailed areas. For above that would be the little pistels of my flower. Because this medium is opache it does cover up the ink that you used to stamp your image with.
After coloring my image, I then stamped with Versamark Ink my “Sending You” from the Love Sentiment stamp set. I also die cut the Love Die and then colored it with Wink Of Stella Brush in Clear. Lastly, I added these cut little Valentine’s Day sequins that are new in our store!
For my second card, I wanted to put my main focus on the new Love Sentiment Die. I used white and black cardstock and then offsetted the black behind the white. I also colored my “love” sentiment with Wink Of Stella again using the Gold brush. These are such gorgeous brushes that I know you will love!
To keep with my gold theme, I then sprayed my cardstock base with Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine. I layered some patterned cardstock and a little bit of our new baby pom pom trim. Finally, new sequins and a “You” stamped from the Love Sentiments Stamp Set were added to finish my card.
My third card is using our Garden Roses stamp set. I will be creating a video with this set using gouache in the next week or so. If you wish to color along with me, you can buy it here. I began by stamping my image using Antique Linen Distress Ink and then coloring it with Winsor & Newton gouache. After I finished coloring my rose, I die cut my “love” in black cardstock and stamped “always” from our Love Sentiments stamp set.
My last card was so fun and simple to make. Just grab lots of scrap paper, ribbon and anything else you have laying around your craft desk. I stamped my love sentiment and then die cut it using a heart die cut. I layered it with some glitter paper as well.
I added some sequins and also some Ranger stickles dots between the sequins. I then added some new paper roses and paper flowers below my sentiment.
I hope you have enjoyed today’s cards and our January release. I will be back tomorrow sharing my favorite cards from our designers! Thank you so much for leaving comments and sharing in the fun with us!
