Today we are showcasing a new 3×4 stamp set called Blessed Stamp Set! This is going to be our Free Stamp of The Month as well! Yay! Purchase $50 or more with us and we will add this stamp set to your order for free!

For my first card today, I grabbed our Fresh Bouquet stamp set and the new Blessed Stamp Set. I began by stamping my bouquet in Antique Linen Distress Ink onto Arches Hot Press Watercolor Paper. I then grabbed my Winsor and Newton professional watercolor paints. If you would like to learn more on how I watercolor, make sure to check out our free Online Classes. I have a great video on materials, techniques etc. You can click here to visit our page.

For perfect and straight stamping, I grabbed my mini Misti and some Versafine black ink. I also used some lovely Ranger Star Dust Sticklers. I love this product, It gives you a 3d dot without the messy glue.

For my second card, I am using our Plumerias & Butterflies with the new Blessed stamp set. I bought myself some gouache for Christmas and I have fallen in love! I am practicing and practicing so that I can do a video tutorial on this beautiful new medium. I am using Arches Hot Press Paper. I have found with practicing that again the quality of watercolor paper does matter. I began by stamping my flowers using Tattered Rose Distress Ink.

After the watercolors dried, I then stamped my sentiment from todays new stamp set. I love all the various ways that you can stamp these sentiments. I have also added some sequins onto my card for just a little more dimension.

For my last card, I originally had this black sentiment for the above card but after coming back to the card, I just didn’t love it. So I took this sentiment and created this simple card instead. I began by white embossing the sentiment and then grabbing some scrap paper and burlap.

I used our new Paper Roses and also some mixed flowers for a lovely border around the sentiment. The “xo” in the bottom corner was used from our My Valentine’s stamp set and gold embossing powder. I also used some old heart punches and glitter paper for my hearts.

I hope you have enjoyed my release cards today. I have had such a lovely time painting and creating! We will be back tomorrow with our Love Sentiments stamp set & coordinating Die! I can’t wait to share ALL the gorgeous inspiration from the designers!

Oh Joanna, I’m in love with this stamp set it’s so very versatile, what a very clever clever set of sentiments. Well done!!!

Your cards and creations are simply superb.

    I too love gouche.
It’s a honey of a medium I use it in all my calligraphy illumination, water colours are transluscent, gouache is opaque, and it sits more on the surface of the good quality rag or paper whichever you use. Because of this blending is more seamless.
Another thing I learnt with my gouache when I had a mixed sheet palette of colours you could reuse it by just adding water till the paint was all ( then you just add more) I have used my current pallette for fifteen, multi layered
    Thanks for sharing your inspiration,
