Hi all – It’s Vicki today.  Today I am going to show you how to use the wonderful SVG cuts that Joanna offers with her stamp sets, along with a MISTI.

Here is the finished card;

Using Build a Stocking stamp set, I made a fun, clean and simple card that uses the SVG cuts offered.

You will need a Silhouette and a MISTI to create this card.

Upload and cut your images.  Using the stamps and MISTI, stamp the image on a piece of paper inside the MISTI.

Using the negative cut, line it up over the stamped image, making sure the white framing is equal all around.

Place the positive cut into the negative template, and re-stamp the stamp image.

This is the advantage to using the SVG cuts, and also owning a MISTI.  I love having an even framework around my stamped images.  Before my MISTI, I struggled :).  I hope this helps you to utilize your tools more efficiently.

Another advantage?  Your sentiments can be stamped straight!  [I did sponge on color to make my stocking red too.]

See you next month~
