Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new post made for Inspired by Stamping.
This month I was asked to make Hanukkah project using Inspired by Stamping stamps. As much as I wanted it to be something with a lot of stamps, the only stamps I had were sentiments.
So I decided to make a pretty big project using just the sentiment and to stamp over something different from paper or cardstock.
So here is my modern clay Menorah made all of Makin’s Clay with stamped into clay IBS gorgeous Hanukkah sentiment. This sentiment is from a stamp set that is currently out of stock, but it was the only possible Hanukkah set to use, so I used it and I hope it will be back in the shop. I stamped both words into wet mixed black and white clay, so the color now is a kind of dark grey/marble. After stamping into clay I let it dry for a few long hours and then painted inside the stamped sentiment with silver acrylic paint and then added some glitter silver around the front sentiment label. The main thing is to show that you can use clear stamps to stamp into clay surface as usually people think that those stamps are not deep enough to make the good impression on the clay.
Inspired by Stamping stamps are sure perfect for clay stamping and you can see how gorgeous the result is!
So I wish all my Jewish friends around the world Happy Hanukkah and to all my Christian friends a
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of us – in advance!
Let it be our best year ever!
