This is only good while this stamp set is in stock for the month of November!
Today, I have a new video tutorial sharing a emboss resist technique that our lovely designer Jo Herbert shared in this post. I loved it so much that I just had to try it on our new release cards! So fun and So Easy! I hope you enjoy this video as much as I loved creating these cards!
I hope you enjoyed today’s video! Such a fun technique with so many colors that you could use to create this card. I began by stamping thank you with my mini misti and versafine. Next, I washed my stamps very well and then placed them slightly to the left of my sentiment. I then stamped them with versamark and used some clear embossing powder. I then stamped the butterflies and also the kindness stamp set and again used clear embossing for those as well.
Now the fun part! I grabbed my number 5 paint brush and some Winsor Newton paints and started adding layers to my butterfly and sentiment. Make sure you use cold press watercolor paper because this type of paper is specifically for applying lots of water like this technique needs. I worked wet on wet and applied multiple layers of colors three times and blended each layer with my brush. This is such a fun and simple one layer card that would be great to produce many cards at the same time to give away as a birthday gift.
For my second card, I used the same technique in the video above but this time used blue and greens for my watercolor background. So many color combinations that you could use for this technique!
Oooooo, a little sneak peek of our Garden Roses stamp set for tomorrow! I used some white embossing and colored my rose using my watercolors. I will be sharing a tutorial on how to use two different color blending tomorrow! I then added some Crochet Trim and also some White Ribbon.
For my last card, I used our Lily Of The Valley stamp set and white embossed it. I then used my watercolor to color this beautiful flower.
I then added my sentiment from the new Big Thanks stamp set. I then added some rhinestones, pearls and crochet trim for my final touches.
I hope you have enjoyed today’s inspiration cards with today’s new stamp set and my video tutorial! I will be back tomorrow with a new video tutorial and our Garden Roses stamp set.
