Hi, friends! Mynn here from On A Stampage here to share another project I made using beautiful products from the Inspired By Stamping store! Today I have a pen holder to share with you, along with a tutorial on how I made it. Let’s get started!
For this project, I am using a used candle jar. I started by cutting strips of three different patterned papers that went well together. I then used Mod Podge to glue them to the jar.
I then got out some vellum and the Summer Warbler stamp set. I stamped the image and sentiment onto the vellum using black Staz-On ink. I colored the warbler image with Spectrum Noir markers on the back side of the paper to keep the inks from running together and to keep the black lined image crisp.
I fussy cut the image and sentiment out, then used Mod Podge to glue them to the glass jar. Because they were stamped onto vellum, the sentiment looks like it was stamped directly onto the jar and the warbler has some of the pattern showing through. I love the way it looks!
Next, I added all my details. Various washi tapes, glitter, and some mixed flowers along with some fake leaves. I kept the colors bright and cheerful. Take a look at the finished project…
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you like what I have made and I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! I’ll be back later with another post using products from the Inspired By Stamping store. Until then, HUGS and happy stamping, friends!
