Oh, I am so in love with those red poppies on the kraft!! What a beautiful effect!!
I am totally loving my Mini-MISTI. I’m not saying I *couldn’t* live without it, but why would I want to? 🙂

Thank you for the tutorial – this is a great technique – your card is gorgeous and so are the other cards you shared on the video. I was interested to see that you use the Ultimate Glue – it’s my favourite and I don’t see/hear of many people using it. Do you find that it clogs up in the nozzle? That’s my only complaint about it. As for the crafting tool that I couldn’t live without, it would have to be my Cuttlebug – I use it for nearly every card I make! Enjoy your weekend!

Hi, I absolutely love Ultimate Glue and was so excited to buy some when I got back to the USA. My favorite in Australia was helmars glue. Both glues clog terribly but I always thought it was my lack of closing the top. lol 🙂 but I have found its the ONLY glue that works months later after creating a card that when I grab the card it is still perfect. Hugs and love, Joanna xxxx

I have had the same problem with glues not holding when I grab a card that I made months before…..until I started using Beacon 3 in 1 glue. LOVE it. Holds and holds and any clogs are extremely easy to remove since they are always just a plug at the tip that can be rubbed away with my fingertip. Since it is acetone based, there is never any wrinkling of the paper and it bonds all sorts of hard-to-glue materials effortlessly. My regular source stopped carrying the 3 in 1 for awhile, and I found that Beacon’s Fabri-Tac worked just as well. Just tossing my two cents worth in on the adhesive discussion!

I haven’t bought anything new lately but have been wanting a mini misti. Love my tonic guillotine paper cutter and Copic markers.

Both of these cards are absolutely gorgeous! So glad that you opened the comments so I can leave this note!
My “can’t live without” new tool is my mini drill kit. When I say mini I really mean mini, some of the drill bits are so small that you have to be super careful not to bend them even a little bit lest they snap in two. I use them for building miniature scenescapes and for my mixed media projects!

Loved the video as usual! My latest obsession is powders (dyes in powder form), I have 3 different brands but they all work similarly, Brushos, Bistres and Infusions. I use them for fun and easy backgrounds, making sprays and colouring anything I don’t want to get too wet. It’s even possible to stamp with them!

  8. Denise Bryant says:

Gorgeous card! I love the effect and the coloring!
I recently bought a Mini MISTI and I think it will be a tool I will reach for over and over!

  9. Berina Febin says:

I got the newsletter!! Can’t wait to see the class video!! I recently bought a few copics and now I can’t understand how I survived without them! lol!! I would say I cannot live without copics and flower stamps!! I just thought about the guest designer call today. Hopefully I will complete and submit my application before my baby is born!!
