Hi all, Vicki here.  Today I have another easy way of creating a colored washed background.  First though, here is the finished card;

What do you think?  Do you like it?  Here are the easy directions to making this card.

Step 1 – fill a container with water

Step 2 – using ink spray, pour just a little bit into the water

Step 3 – dip a panel of water color paper into the mix.  Let it dry [or use a heatgun] — If you want more depth of color, dry, dip, dry, dip, until you are happy with the color you want.

Once dried completely, complete your card.

For my card, I used IBS Butterflies, Everyday Greetings, along with the Fancy Label Dies 2.

The next time you want a colored washed background, try this easy way!

See you next time~

    Love this idea as the colours look so intense and I have those inks sitting in bottles, I hate to admit this but unopened. Well no time like the present. Your card is wonderful Vicki, but just wondering. How colourful did your fingers end up???

    Absolutely gorgeous with those beautiful colors. I might have to color wash some backgrounds now for my cards.
