Hi all, Vicki here. Today I am showing you an easy, fun way to use water colors.
Here are the finished card(s);
Here are the steps to making this card:
Step 1 – start with water color paper, taped down to stop buckling, and wet with water and a brush
Step 2 – using distress inks [they respond better with water], ink up your brush and touch to the card panel. (Ink will start to spread on the pre-watered paper.)
Step 3 – after panel is dry, using your hand, sprinkle water drops over the dried ink.
Step 4 – stamped and emboss the sentiment. [I used IBS Water Color Sentiments]
That’s it! I added some sequins, and mounted this on a card base. I do adore doing water coloring like this. I like the idea that you don’t know what you will end up with! You should try it – I know you will have fun.
See you next time~
