It’s our last day showcasing 3D projects using our favorites IBS stamp sets. We hope that you have enjoyed this week’s inspirations. The designers have done such a lovely job. Here are two more to get you ready for a great crafty weekend by Donna and Irit. Donna is up first! Here she is…
Hello! Donna here to show you one of my favorite Inspired by Stamping stamp sets. You may recall I showcased the Australian Birds stamp set on a screen divider back in February. Now I created this project for the sweet Winter Birds Stamp Set. (Yes, I know, it is a little early for Christmas projects but I love this stamp set).
The tutorial to make the screen divider is over at
Splitcoast Stampers with all the measurements.
I watercolored the birds with distress inks.
This will make a cute piece for the mantel during the Christmas season.
These screen dividers can be folded and mailed in an A2 envelope!
Next up we have Irit sharing with us a great sign using the new Butterflies stamp set. I love her colors and all the yummy details. Take it away Irit!
Hello my dear crafty friends !
Today I am going to share my new 3d project made with my favorite (for now) Butterflies new released Inspired by Stamping stamp set.
First I made the faux black wood base using texture paste, mask and Kraft cardstock. I added black paint over the dry paste and then some brown distress ink. The whole piece was cut and arranged to this arrows sign.
Then I added one single huge sticker in the middle and this sticker was a reason to use those lovely IBS butterfly stamps. I just had to add more and more stamped butterflies over my arrows.
Each butterfly was stamped 2 or 3 times and layered to this similar to sticker shape.
I stamped them with pigmented ink and heat embossed with clear powder. Then I painted them with distress inks, added some glaze and fine glitters and embellished with rhinestones.
On the top arrow I added stamped sentiment from the very same set and my faux wooden project was all done.
A very special thank you Irit and Donna for creating such lovely 3D projects. I will be back tomorrow with my Saturday Designer Newsletter Post. Have a lovely Friday. With paper hugs, Joanna
