Hello! Along with this week’s theme, I thought I would share a quick love card that is easy to create. This is not quite a masculine themed, but it is something you can create for your loved ones! And it is not too feminine so you could go either way. I wanted to break out the brand-new stamp set that was release couple weeks ago, called Paris Love. You can use all the images together or separately, they would both work wonderfully either way!

Last video tutorial I shared with you featured Acashiya Sai Watercolor Brush Pen and today I am sharing my thoughts on a new product called ZIG Clean Color Real Brush pens. I got these few weeks after I purchased the Acashiya Sai one because I really wanted to try them both and see how they would compare. I share my quick thoughts in the video below, and more detailed comparison will come soon!

One of the things I really like about these brush pens is that you can add more colors on already wet surfaces to create more in-depth look. With regular water-based markers, you have to wait until the surfaces are dry to add more colors otherwise you can ruin the felt tip. So this property makes it really easy to do more with those pens.

Since the couple is holding an umbrella, I wanted to add a subtle shine onto the whole layer to create a wet look with a rain. So I added very light shine from Wink of Stella glitters onto the whole surface. I hope you can explore different watercoloring mediums to see what works best for you! I will be back in 2 weeks to share more projects with you. Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,

Nicole

Lovely card, the watercolours suit that image perfectly. I enjoyed the video and discovering these new pens too!
