Leah starts us off to today with a sweet Spring birdcage! This is just so gorgeous! Here she is with all the details!
Hello! I am so very ready for spring to come so making a bit of Easter decor was perfect. I decided to dress up a pretty metal birdcage I have and display in the spring. This went together very quickly which is sometimes just the perfect thing.
I pulled out one of my favorite sets Flower of the Month Lily of the Valley and stamped it onto my die cut Fancy Labels 2. I colored it with Copics, added a punched hole at the top so I could thread some jute twine through to tie it onto my birdcage. I found some pastel plastic Easter eggs in my decorations and put several in my birdcage along with a small wreath.
I also added some cream lace for an extra bow. The centers of my flowers are colored a very pale pink and to keep the flowers white I only added some gray shading.
The flower name is from the same set. Even though it is a very simple project I just love how it really dressed up my spring/Easter decor. I hope you like it! Thanks for joining me today.
Next up is Kendra with a lovely Easter basket! I love her colors and design is so pretty! Here’s Kendra with her project!
Hello, IBS Fans!
For my Easter Home Decor, I thought it would be fun to create an Easter basket!
I used the fun Easter Labels stamp set!!
The Happy Easter tag and bunny are both from that set!!
Behind the tag, around the basket I added some lovely White Fabric Tape! (LOVE!! that stuff)
Isn’t the bunny adorable?!?!
I sure think so!
Here’s a close-up of the handle as well:
In the Flower of the Month: Aster stamp set, there is a fun polka dot pattern stamp, that I used to stamp on the handle!
Adds a nice touch!
Have a lovely day!
We will be back tomorrow with another fabulous tutorial by Nicole! I can’t wait to share with you her gorgeous designs! See you then! With Paper hugs, Joanna xoxo
