Happy Friday crafty friends! It’s is our last day of new technique week! We hope you have enjoyed all the different style of cards and techniques that the designers shared. Today, Irit and Marzena are here with us with two more amazing technique cards! Let’s get started with Irit!
Today I am going to show a new card made with a technique I didn’t try yet: double embossing technique and I mean double heat embossing .
First I stamped the rose image from Flowers Bloom set several times and then heat embossed it with white powder.
Then I colored the background with Gelatos to this 7 colors rainbow background . Sometimes it’s just done this way, but today I decided to cover the whole panel with clear embossing powder and to heat emboss it again with clear embossing powder. This added a lot of extra color to the background and even made the small water drops texture (hard to see from the photos, but very well seen at person). I stamped the small sentiment from the new, Flower of the Month: Pansy stamp set on the corner and added black glitter matting to my rainbow card panel.
Next up is Marzena with a fun technique that I haven’t tried before! But after reading Marzena’s post, I am super excited to try this! Take it away Marzena!
Good morning 🙂 Would you like to see what I’ve done for IBS blog?
Here it is: a card for which I applied a new technique: cut out pressure embossing elements.
The inspiration was taken from the blog of Mel who shared tones of tutorials for everyone!
Loved her work and decided to try one of the techniques which is very simple but I haven’t thought about it before! Maybe you like it and try as well?
For the main sentiment I used one of my favorites Hello stamps by IBS.
We hope you have a wonderful weekend! Don’t forget our IBSIC challenge is coming to in end tomorrow. Plus, our monthly newsletter hits your inbox on Sunday! With paper hugs, Joanna xxx
