Happy Friday Crafty Friends!
Kendra, from Luv 2 Scrap n’ Make Cards here to share two fun CAS Birthday Cards with you!
I do tend to usually use a lot of layers, as CAS cards sometimes seem to be hard for me.
But I do enjoy having the challenge of creating them, as there is a lot of beauty and meaning in simple things!
I decided to create a masculine and feminine CAS Birthday card…
I really like how both of these turned out.
The rounded top corners I think really helps finishing off them both.
For my masculine card I started by the yellow and lime green lines, which are part of the Background Basics Lines set.
I then stamped the sentiment.
For this card, I started by using one of the Fancy Labels 2 Dies to cut out the fun shape from my top layer. I stamped the 4 line trio from the Background Basics Lines set just in the middle of where I used the die cut, to match the lines from the frame below. I also added the fun little stars on the top layer just to the left of my die cut shaped opening, which are part of the Create A Cupcake set. The larger star to the top right is from the Diamonds set.
Super fun cards, using some amazing stamp sets! And such fun colors!!
Have a lovely day!!
Next up is Irit with a beautiful CAS floral birthday card! I just love her technique with this card!
Today I am going to show you my new Clean and Simple card made with Inspired by Stamping gorgeous set from the last release.
CAS card means one layer, stamping, sentiment and an easy coloring and it usually should take 10-20 minutes and be possible to done by a pretty new crafter.
So here is my card- not more than 20 minutes, easy stamping and easy background painting.
I stamped the flowers from Spring Bouquet and the sentiment from Happy Sentiments over white cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with black powder. Then I painted the background with water color Gelatos and inked the front edges.
To make this card more interesting I adhered it over a clear vellum card , but it’s still very simple one to make.
Thank you to Irit and Kendra for creating such fun birthday cards today! We hope you have a wonderful crafty weekend! Thanks so much everyone! with paper hugs, Joanna xxx
