We begin today with a lovely Valentine’s Day card by Kylie. I love all her gorgeous details and those flowers are just gorgeous with her hearts! Here’s Kylie!
“Hi everyone and thanks for joining us today! I had so much fun creating this card and I hope I can inspire you for when you are making your Valentine’s Day cards 🙂
I stepped out of my comfort zone with this card and created something that was the complete opposite of my normal style of Clean and Simple.
I started with a piece of Vanilla cardstock and embossed the top panel with a swirl folder. I found a little packet of Vintage postcards and stamped the I love you and xoxo from the Teeny Tiny Greetings Set
Then I stamped the ticket from the Vintage Tickets set and fussy cut it out. I used a peg to hold the ticket and postcard together. I placed them on top of a doily and then started to arrange my flowers.
I’ve used a white daisy and red roses for the arrangement. So beautiful together!
Last of all, I added two die cut hearts.
The cream, white and red colour combination really complimented each other and I loved how it all came together.
Here are the supplies that I have used for this card –
Thanks so much for looking xx
Next up is Donna with another lovely Valentine’s Day project! I love how she used our Vintage Tickets and made a beautiful envelope. Here’s Donna.
Hi, Donna here today with a Valentine. As I was digging through some of my embellishments I came across this tall skinny card, a cute envelope, and some blank tickets. Here’s what I put together.
When the envelope is opened some cute tickets come out!
Here’s the cute tickets out of the envelope.
I used masking to stamp the big tickets in two colors (red & black).
You could write a special message on the back of each ticket.
This card will be going to my daughter for Valentine’s Day.
I used several different stamp sets to make this card. The large tickets are from the Vintage Tickets.
The tan tickets are stamped on with sentiments from Teeny Tiny Greetings as well as the tiny hearts.
The Red & White ticket is stamped on with a sentiment from the Flower of the Month: Sweet Pea.
The “Sweetie” on the front of the card is from the new Big Hello (the FREE stamp of the month).
We will be back tomorrow with masculine cards by Mynn and myself! We hope you have a wonderful day! And don’t forget to join in our challenge! With paper hugs, Joanna
