Hey everyone! I am really excited to be sharing a new video with you today. The last few months I have been working on getting the proper video equipment to start providing videos on our products, techniques and new tutorials.

Inspired by Stamping, Joanna Munster, Australian Nature I, Everyday Greetings stamp set, watercolor card, distress markers card

We are going to begin today with a basics 101 watercolor tutorial for those that have never tried watercoloring on their cards before. After today, we will then begin to dive into a little bit more advanced coloring with a few of our others IBS sets.

What you will need for to create today’s card is…

Australian Nature I stamp set

Everyday Greetings stamp set

Watercolor Paper 140lb or 300gsm

Tombow Watercolor Markers or Tim Holtz Distress Markers

(If you are using Tombow Markers, I used N45, 296, 451, 603, 703

Number 2, 4, 6 round watercolor brush

Paper Towel

Cup of Water

Versamark

Memento Black Ink

White Detail Embossing Powder

Now that you have all the items for today’s project let’s get started!

Here’s the card completed again!

Wasn’t that super fun and easy!?! Now let’s see you give it a try. Create a card this week using the above technique. It doesn’t have to be with our stamps or even a butterfly. Load it up on our inlinkz below. I am going to have this contest open for one week so the deadline will be Tuesday February 10th. Next Wednesday, I will randomly select & announce a winner to receive the Australian Nature stamp set! (I will ship this personally to anyone in the world!)

We can’t wait to see your creations! With paper hugs, Joanna xxx

Just finished watching your video – WOW!!!
THANK YOU for sharing this technique and your tips too – it will definitely make my attempt at this technique go more smoothly than if I just jumped in with too much water and not properly blending out each section!!!
