Welcome to day 4 of our January Release! We hope that you are enjoying all the inspirations this week from myself and the designers! Today we are introducing our Tropical Paradise stamp set!
Our new tropical stamp set is inspired by all the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef and tropical islands that I now live amongst. All the drawings from this set are pictures that I have taken throughout the years of exploring this beautiful area! Here’s the stamp set!
This exciting new stamp set is a 4×6 & retails for $15.99. This new set creates beautiful stampscapes & scenes for your cards. Let your imagination take you away with this fun set of 7 images! We also have cut files!
Now that we have made the formal introductions, let’s get onto our inspiration!
This set is sooooo much fun to play with! I have never done a stamp scene before but this was just fabulous! I began by using some glossy paper.
I tried to use Memento Black Ink on glossy paper but the image wasn’t as crisp so I used StazOn Black Ink instead. Please note, some ladies don’t like their clear stamps to stain and yes this ink will stain them. But it is so worth it with a crisp lined image. After stamping the scene, I used a heat gun to set the ink.
Now the fun part! I used SU! inks and a dauber to create this cards ocean and sky color. For the ocean I used, Pool Party & Coastal Cabana. For the sky I used Lost Lagoon.
After daubing, I colored the sun, boat and beach hut with Tombow Markers. I also used our new Free Set called Big Hello! We will feature this great new set tomorrow!
For this card, I again used glossy paper and StazOn ink to stamp my image. But this time, I used distress inks.
I used Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean. To create a straight line between the ocean and sky, simple place a piece of printer paper and daube over the with the ocean color.
After daubing my colors, I then used Tombow markers again and stamped the sun in yellow and gray. I then colored the sunshine in. This lovely sentiment can be found in our Spring Bouquet stamp set that we will release tomorrow!
Now for my watercolor card! I began by watercoloring the ocean and the sky with two different shades of blue. After it the watercolored dried, it was time to start stamping!
I began by stamping the palm trees in green ink. I actually colored the stamp with my Tombow markers. I then stamped the rocks, boat and birds with my markers too.
This lovely large hello sentiment is from our new free set of the month called Big Hello! I can’t wait to share this set with you tomorrow!
I am so excited to share you another great inspirational card using this set by Mynn! Here she is!
Welcome back, friends! It’s another day of release week at Inspired By Stamping and today we’re sharing the Tropical Paradise stamp set! This one was super fun to work with because I am READY for a little more warmth here in the northern hemisphere! 😉 Take a peek at my card…
I started by stamping and heat embossing the large image from the Tropical Paradise set with some glittery black embossing powder onto some patterned paper. A few enamel dots add a bit of “sunshine” to the image.
I then stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from the Summer Fun set onto some vellum using some blue embossing powder. I added a baker’s twine bow to this panel and added it to the image panel using dimensional foam strategically placed.
I then added this completed focal panel to a card base that had some chevron patterned paper added to it. I think the final product definitely screams summer, don’t you? I like it! What do you think? I’d love for you to leave a comment and let me know!
A very special thank you to all our designers for creating such beautiful cards today with our new set! Don’t forget to leave a comment for our release giveaway! The more you comment the more chances of winning! We will be back tomorrow with our last two stamp sets of our release! See you then! Joanna xxx
