Over the last few months, Facebook has again changed their algorithm. If you don’t see our posts, please like a photo and leave a dot in the comment section. This will insure that you see some of our posts in the future. The more you like a post the more you will see us.
Out of the 3,428 likes we have less then 1% that receive our posts, usually around 48 people. It is truly disheartening and hard for the little businesses.
With that said, let’s get onto our inspirations for the day!
“Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me…” Welcome to another post from me using amazing products from the Inspired By Stamping store. This time, I’ve created a scene using some fabulous new stamps from our most recent release…come take a peek!
I started the creation of this scene by layering some white cardstock onto some snowflake printed glitter paper. I added some Stickles to the snow drifts to add shine and dimension.
I then stamped some trees and a deer from the Build a Stocking stamp set and fussy cut them out. I added a bit more texture with a bit of ultra thick embossing enamel. I then added them to the scene and put some liquid pearls onto the trees to create faux ornaments.
The last step was to stamp and emboss a sentiment from the Festive Frames set onto the same specialty paper I used on the images. I cut and punched the sides to make it look like a banner and then I added it to the card.
This panel was then added to the card base that also had some of the same snowflake printed glitter paper. I love the final effect–the dimension looks amazing in real life!
Next up is Jo with three beautiful cards! Take it away Jo!
Hi fellow paper crafters Jo here, today I have made some cards using all New Arrival stamp sets from Inspired By Stamping.
To create my own background I have repetitive stamped the Poinsettias on Naturals Ivory Cardstock. I have used Crumb Cake Ink as it is a light enough ink without taking away the focus of the centre Poinsettia. The paper used for all cards is from Teresa Collins ‘Tinsel and Company’. To stamp I used Momento Luxe Inks pear tart for the leaves and Rhubarb stalk for the sentiment. To cut the bottom border I have used Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Border #1 Die.
For the base I have used the star stamp from the Build a Stocking set with Gold & Silver Encore Ink.
The Centre Panel has been cut out with Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Duo #2. I have inked using my Ranger mini ink tool with Peeled Paint & Peacock feathers. Washi tape has been placed along the centre of the card along with gold sequins. For the bow I used a Satin Ribbon close to the peacock feathers ink as possible.
A very special thank you to Jo and Mynn for creating with us. We hope you have a wonderful Friday! We will be back Sunday with our designer feature. Can’t wait! With paper hugs, Joanna
