Hey there friends!

Inspired by Stamping, Joanna Munster, Winter Birds stamp set, Holiday Greetings stamp set, Christmas Card

I’ve been practicing with my new distress markers today with the water coloring technique. I am not sure at the moment which I prefer Tombow markers or Distress markers. Each one has their positives and negatives.

I began by stamping my image from our Winter Birds set in Black Memento ink and then using the heat gun. I then used Mustard Seed and Vintage Photo markers. After laying down the colors, I gently pulled the ink out onto other parts of the image. After the image was completely dry, I went through and outlined the image using Weathered Wood and again pulled the ink out to lighten the edges.

My sentiment is from our Holiday Expressions stamp set. And my red bow is also from our Christmas Ribbon Collection.

I hope that you enjoyed todays cards! Tomorrow Nicole is joining us with a wonderful tutorial! Love her tutorials! See you then!
