Homemade Christmas cards are such a special and unique part of gift giving for us crafters this time of year. Today on our blog, Grace and Nupur are featuring two very pretty Christmas cards. Even if you are already done creating, I am sure these two cards will leave you inspired!

Our IBSI challenge is currently underway. Here’s one of the inspirations that you can choose from. Plus, one lucky winner will receive a $30 gift card to our store! Click Here for details.

We begin with a very modern card by Grace. I love her layers and the ripped distress edges are really eye catching. Take it away, Grace!

“Hello my crafty friends. Today Nupur and I are sharing some Christmas cards with you. I hope my contribution will inspire you to use up some of the latest stamp releases from Inspired By Stamping in your next project.

For this card, I layered some pattern papers from Echo Park and then highlighted the sentiment by stamping it on yellow cardstock. It was a bold move but paid off since I had some busy designs from the pattern papers.

To add some texture and interest to the trees, I heat embossed them with green powder, hand cut each of and adhered one with foam adhesive.

Next up is Nupur with a lovely stocking card. I adore her coloring and shading. This card really sparkles and shines! Here’s Nupur!

Hello Friends,

We are having a Christmas week at IBS…

And I am sharing a Stocking card with you all today…

Build A Stocking is such a fun stamp to play with…

I stamped the stocking with red ink, fussy cut it & inked it with some shading…

Next I stamped the snowflake few times to add a fun design to my stocking…

Then I stamped, fussy cut & inked the hounds tooth stamp from the same set …

I stacked the together & added some rhinestones…

I propped the stocking with foam tape on a die cut & inked card front…
