Here’s an old project for ya! Oh my! My first one ever! I made it for my nursery 13 years ago. Does anyone recognize this super old SU! paper???? It was when I first started as a demonstrator oh so many years ago. Well it was time for a little facelift.

And here they are now! All new and redesigned for Christmas! I wanted something to coordinate with my boxes and jars that I made last year. You can see them here on our Pinterest Board.

I started with painting the edges with White acrylic paint. It took a few layers to get rid of the dark brown that I first painted them with. Don’t forget to give it a little scratch with sandpaper too before painting for better adhering of the paint. I used some MME Christmas paper from last year that I had left over. And adhered the paper with decoupage glue. I had to work really quickly because it is so hot here at the moment and it dried very very quickly!

For my letter J, I used a glue pen over the edges and sprinkled glitter. I also added glitter to each flower and adhered them on top of our Crochet Trim. My sentiment tag can be found from our Holiday Sentiments stamp set.

Here’s a close up of my letter O. I did the same things as above but this time added a bow from our Christmas Ribbon Collection.

And here’s my letter Y. All glittered up also. Smile

All in all this project only took me an hour to create. The longest time was waiting for the paint to dry between layers. It is now sitting against my china hutch looking very Christmassy.

Here are our designers with lots more inspiration! Enjoy! You’ll love the ideas!

The matching stamps & dies bundles sound like a great idea, a no brainer… The themed bundle is less clear cut. Some will love the convenience of a kit already put together and others…won’t. For the latter I would guess a greater discount would be required to entice them.

I like the transformation of your JOY decor. Great bundles. My favorites are the die bundles (Fancy Labels 2 and 3)
