Happy Thanksgiving crafty friends! My house smells like pumpkin pie at the moment. Even though I am in Australia, I still love Thanksgiving. We are having our big feast this weekend because we don’t get the day off. I can’t wait!
This weekend we are having a super sale! Take 25% off everything. I am going to have this sale up starting right now until Saturday 3pm AEST so that is Friday at Midnight EST in America.
Please use code “THANKS” at checkout! You can use it as many times as you like!
Don’t forget to share the news with a friend! This will be huge especially with the already 50% markdown prices on some clearance items! Eek!
Today we are sharing two Thanksgiving cards featuring Kendra and myself! First up is Kendra with a lovely card using our Autumn Blessings stamp set!
Perfect, considering it’s Thanksgiving!
I think it is very important to let people know that you are thankful for even the smallest things they do. So I find myself creating a lot of “Thank You” cards!
I used a bunch of the fun accents in the Autumn Blessings set! Such a fun set! So many possibilities!!
I also used some beautiful Cream Fabric Tape!
I absolutely love the fabric tape!!
Next I have thanksgiving card using Tombow Markers.
While in America this summer, I treated myself to a few new crafty items. Well almost an entire suitcase of fun crafty things. One of them was the entire set of Tombow markers. I haven’t had a chance to play with them until this last week. If your on our Instagram page, you’ve seen a few sneak peeks of things I am working on.
I was inspired to make a Fall Tree but realized that we don’t have any fall branches (that will be remedied next year ) So I went looking for the closest stamp set we had, which is our Springtime Beauty set. You can purchase this set this weekend for $5 with the discount code!
I colored only part of the branch not including the berries with Tombow Markers 879 and stamped directly on it. LOVE how those markers can color clear stamps and give such a fabulous image! Eeek! I am so excited!
I then grabbed my Autumn Blessings set and stamped random maple leaves using kraft and burnt orange ink. For the sky, I used a dauber with SU! Pool Party ink.
Our All Year Wishes II stamp set is being retired this year and used it for my thanksgiving sentiment. I tried something new with using black string to stitch both the top and bottom of my card. What do you think? It’s a big contrast and very bold.
I hope you enjoyed today’s cards. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Don’t eat too much! LOL! I miss you all so much and my family especially. Sending you peace, love, cheer and lots of laughter this wonderful holiday weekend. xoxo
