Welcome to a day full of Autumn Projects and cards featuring our talented designers Vicki and Kylie! We begin today with a gorgeous calendar and coordinating card by Vicki! We love her rich colors and designs! Take it away, Vicki!
“Hi everyone, it’s Vicki here with a fun Fall project. In this case, it is a gift for one of my customers.
To make this project and card, I used the following stamp sets;
I started by sponging on my Fall colors with a dauber and then stamped a solid image using green, and another image using white pigment ink. Add in some stenciling and the basis of the card, and the calendar is complete.
My card is the perfect size [3×4.25] to go with the small bag I am putting the calendar in.
By putting the according center in, this calendar will fold flat. Perfect if you are mailing it out.
I hope you enjoyed my little gift. Everyone and anyone can use a calendar!
Next up we have a gorgeous card by Kylie! Her textures on her card are just amazing! Take it away, Kylie!
Hi everyone and thanks for joining me today.
Today we are concentrating on Autumn/Fall cards over at IBS.
To start with I laid some ink onto my craft sheet and misted it with water. Then I dragged a piece of watercolour paper over the inks. I dried it with my heat gun and the repeated the process with different colours. Sometimes I would blot at the ink with a paper towel.
I used the branch stamp from
the Sweet Aviary set, inked it with a couple of different colours then misted it with water before stamping. I then dried my piece of paper again.
Then using the small leaf from the
Autumn Blessings set, I stamped the leaf in all different colours.
Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the same set.
The end result was beautiful Autumn colours with floating leaves that didn’t take long to make at all!
Thanks so much for looking today xx
A special thank you to our designers Kylie and Vicki for creating such gorgeous projects with us! We will be back tomorrow with a fabulous tutorial by Leah! With paper hugs, Joanna
