I am so excited to introduce these beautiful set of birds to the Inspired by Stamping family. Each bird was drawn by hand by myself and reminds me of winters in Michigan as a child. Not only are these great winter birds but will be gorgeous on all our cards for our bird loving friends!
Now let’s get to some inspirations! Today, Nupur and Donna are joining us featuring the gorgeous cardinal. I have also created a couple of cards to share below too. We begin with Nupur!
I hope you are enjoying the new Christmas release by IBS…

Next up is the talented Donna featuring our Winter Birds set and also Elegant Christmas Sentiments! Take it away, Donna!
“Christmas will be here sooner than we think! Here’s an idea for a Seasonal card.
The Cardinal is such a bright and cheery bird for a Christmas Card. Especially when you team him up with some green and gold. I shined him up with some Wink of Stella for a more frosty look.
There are three other birds in the set and all of them would make wonderful cards!
Next up, I have a few cards to share featuring a few different styles!
My first card is a great clean and simple card that is perfect for making a batch of cards for Christmas. I started with stamping the evergreen leaves from our Christmas Wreath stamp set which we will be featuring on Thursday.
Next, I used our Winter Birds Cut File to cut our the cardinal. I then stamped using Memento Black Ink and colored him with Copic Markers.
Lastly, I stamped this sentiment from from our Elegant Christmas Sentiments stamp set at the bottom.
My next card features the adorable Black Cap Chickadee from this fabulous stamp set. I stamped this little birdie onto a cut file again using black memento ink. And colored him with Copic Markers. I then placed him on a oval die cut and sponged the back ground with blue ink.
“Happy Holidays” sentiment can be found in our Christmas Greetings stamp set. It was also our revisited set from this month’s newsletter.
Lastly, I added a red bow and crochet trim for a little more Christmas feel to my card. Both of these can be found in our Christmas Ribbon Collection
My last card is a more traditional Christmas card featuring the gorgeous cardinal from this set. This time I stamped him directly onto cardstock and after coloring him, I then cut him out using one of my die cuts.
Here’s a different angle of the cardinal.
I stamped “Believe” directly onto some old patterned paper from our Festive Frames stamp set. I then added these Red Flowers from our store too.
I hope you have enjoyed today’s inspirations with our new stamp set! We have a few more inspirations from our designers so please click over to their blogs!
