I started by creating my own “patterned paper” by stamping some of the different diamonds from the Diamonds set in an ombre fashion. I went with reds and pinks.
After creating this panel, I decided to add it to some glitter paper and a card base. I then turned to the focal point of the card. I created this by punching some hearts, dry embossing the kraft one, and layering them on top of each other. Next, I stamped and punched out a sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Greetings set and added it to the heart with a rhinestone brad.
A few rhinestone hearts finished this portion off and it was added to the card. The finished product will be used for either a Valentine or a “just because” card. It’s always good to have these type of cards on hand! The sentiments from the Teeny Tiny Greetings set are so versatile–this set is a MUST have!
Today’s card is for my daughter, Tessa. She has been doing so amazing in school and I am so proud of her. Coming from America and going to school in a foreign country has had it difficulties. Most kids tease her for her accent and she takes it so well with quick witty replies. So this card today is dedicated to her for being a true hero and blossoming no matter what!
I used the large butterfly from the Australian Nature I set and layered it with circle and lacy circle dies. I then used our Fancy Labels 3 die and stamped these adorable sentiments from the Teeny Tiny Greetings.
I had a comment last week on our blog about how to tie my bows, here’s the link to learn how. I didn’t cut the end off ribbon but draped it around the card and glued the bow down with a drop of glue.
I hope that you have enjoyed today’s cards. Don’t forget to join in our challenges this week! We have lots of great things going on.
I also just shipped to our designers our Christmas Release that will be happening this month! Eeek! We are all so excited! Lots of fun behind the scenes and creating going on! October is a great month! Plus, it’s our 3rd year anniversary!
