I hope you all are enjoying all the newly released stamps & ribbons at IBS & the beautiful inspirations…
Today its my turn to share a card made with the stamp set that is being released today… Flower Of The Month: Aster
I stamped the flower image with black archival ink & colored with distress inks…This is such a pretty flower with lots of details… I had so much fun coloring it…
I die cut it & framed it with lacy green die cuts…
I die cut the card base & inked it… then I used a stencil & a little texture paste mixed with the same distress inks with which I colored my flowers to make my background…. I also sprinkled some clear glitter on top of the stenciled design for some shimmer…
To add a bit more oomph to the card I added some pearls & rhinestone to the design…
I hope you like my card… thank you for visiting…
IBS Products :
For my first card today, I watercolored the flower using inks and a blender pen. I began by embossing my image in clear embossing.
After coloring my image, I then cut out a Spellbinder Scallop die and adhered it onto foam dimensionals. For my paper I used the Spring Lilacs Paper Pad and also a strip of Crochet Trim Collection II.
This gorgeous pink ribbon is from our Vintage Floral Ribbon Collection.
After tying my bow, I added this little tag using a sneak peek set called Teeny Tiny Greetings. We will be showing you this great set tomorrow!
For my next card, I watercolored again! Love these colors together and the pinks match perfectly with our Vintage Floral Paper Pad. Plus, I the cut files before stamping for the asters.
This time I used white embossing powder. I actually love it better than the clear as I found it popped a little more with the watercoloring.
For my finishing touches, I cut out this cute banner from our Fancy Labels 3 Die and used a sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Greetings. The ribbon is from our Vintage Floral Ribbon Collection too.
I hope you have enjoyed today’s inspiration with our newest floral addition!
