Oh happy news today! We are finally introducing three new designers to our team! These ladies create such gorgeous cards and projects that we can’t wait to see them use our stamps! Whoo Hoo! Without further ado and in alphabetical order here they are!

Donna-Nuce

I am a retired US Army Colonel living in the Denver, Colorado area. My husband and I have been married for 32 years and we have a beautiful 24 year old daughter who was married last December. I started scrapbooking when my daughter was 4 years old and fell in love with using papers, embellishments and photos to document my family’s story. Eventually those leftover papers and embellishments worked their way into cards. Then I discovered stamping! After I retired I had way more time to craft and began to look for an outlet for my cards. I discovered Operation Write Home, an organization devoted to making blank cards for our military to write home on. This was a way for me to still support my military comrades and use my creativity for good. I started my blog to showcase my cards and participate in the challenges. I am on the design team for the House of Cards Challenge blog and the blog hop team for Club Scrap. I am way beyond excited to be picked for the Inspired By Stamping Design Team. In addition to scrapbooking and card making I also paint watercolors. Here are some of my all-time favorite cards.

I made this card for my husband to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. I designed the sentiment on my computer and printed it on the paper.

This card was designed for my House of Cards Challenge Blog Design Team. My mother loved to sew and quilt before her eyes went bad. This was her Mother’s Day Card. It’s hard to see but I love how the scissors look like they are cutting the paper as the paper curls away from their blades.

Here’s another DT card for the House of Cards challenge blog using the French Country Stamp Set from Inspired by stamping. I love the background stamp and the chicken in this set.

This is not a card, but I consider it my most crafty of creations. This is the wedding bouquet my daughter carried at her wedding. We used old family jewelry, handmade paper flowers, crochet flowers my grandmother had made and silk flowers. It is now on display in a glass case at my house until my daughter finds room for it in her new house.

I have been paper crafting  for 5 or so years and was first introduced to the world of card making and scrapbooking through my dear friend, I knew instantly that this would be a passion that I could channel my creativity into.

Joanna, you keep finding more & more great talent ~ I simply love the style of each of your new designers! I feel especially drawn to “the Colonel’s” because I am an “Operation Write Home” contributor myself. 🙂 My artwork took a siesta this summer but now I’m greatly inspired!
