Happy Monday friends! Hope you had a fantastic weekend. We are back today with a great week in store with lots of crafty ideas. Hi everyone! How are you all today? Kylie and myself are sharing floral cards today with some great techniques! Let’s get started with the talented Kylie!

I am going to share with you a card today that combines two wonderful sets from Inspired by Stamping.

Summer Flowers and the Newly Released Summer Fun

I started off by creating my background using Distress Inks directly onto an acrylic block, spritzing them with water and pressing the block onto my cardstock. A piece of paper towel was used to pat the colour. I sped up the drying process by using my heat gun.

I am really happy with how my background colours worked out. It is obviously very random so it is always cool to see how it ends up.

Here is a close up of the flowers (from the Summer Flowers set). They have been heat embossed with white powder.

I stamped the hello from the Summer Fun set. How awesome is it that these sets combine so beautifully!

The finishing touch for this card was adding the three little pearls to the top right hand corner.

I hope you have been enjoying the New Release sets from Inspired by Stamping. I know I have!!

Thanks so much for looking xx

Today, I have two cards to share with you. The first one features our Lily Of The Valley stamp set. I first stamped the lilies with versamark and then used Clear embossing powder.

Next, I used some ink pads with my watercoloring brush and colored it in using the colors from our IBSIC. After watercoloring the flowers, I gently went back over it with a darker color to add some highlights to my flower.

I then added this sentiment from our Petite Banners set that coordinates with our Fancy Labels 3 Die. There is a little sneak peek here for our release next month too. I’m so excited about our Sept release.

My next card features our Basket Of Flowers set using Tombow markers. Oooo, I love these new markers! I colored directly on the stamp set and it stamped beautifully! Now, I can’t stop thinking of all the color combinations I am going to use on a few of our sets!

After stamping the basket of flowers, I then colored it in with a slightly lighter color marker. I also stamped the sentiment with the coordinating dark pink of my flowers too.

There is also a sneak peek here for the upcoming Sept release. I also used our Crochet Trim Collection II and our Spring Lilacs Cream Ribbon too!

We hope you have enjoyed today’s cards. It was fun trying out a few new techniques and creating today! We will be back tomorrow with a some more fun! Till then, have a wonderful day!

Love these three cards!! I need to try the distress ink background. It sounds easy and it is so strikingly gorgeous. I am totally a maniac over this month’s color palette, so the delicately beautiful Lily of the Valley card really speaks to me. Love the wonderful pieced and stitched background on the pretty basket of flowers card. That lace is the perfect touch!!!
