Oh it’s Friday! Yay! Any amazing plans for the weekend? I’ve just finished drawing up the September release. Yippee! I am so excited. I always am! So it’s time to do a little cleaning up, yep nothing happens when I am in drawing mode and my house is starting to show it. But….there are some great new things in store for September!

Today, Irit is bringing us some beautiful inspiration from her latest vacation. She created a lovely water lily card. Here is Irit!
I am not a big coloring person, but this Water Lily image is so easy to color and it’s really gorgeous!
I stamped it with permanent black ink as I used distress markers and a lot of water to make this shaded look. The frog was stamped over the patterned paper and colored over it. I also added a few drops of “water” with glossy accents and a small Thoughts of you sentiment. I like the concept of this Frog- prince and I sure am going to use this set much more as I just got some gorgeous water lily photos from our latest vacation to Lithuania.
Next is the talented Calypso with a beautiful card featuring our Friends Forever! We just love how she created the yellow background with the stamp too! Here’s Calypso!
I have a bright and beautiful card to share with you today. July’s new release was filled with so many new and amazing stamps, that I am looking forward to wearing them out!! LOL
My card today use the beautiful Forever Friends collection set. Love the flowers and the long razor like leaves. I had fun putting this card together. I colored my flower and did some fun precision cutting!! 🙂
The stamp set comes with a beautiful lattice like banner, that I decided to use as a background for the stamp. I was planning on stamping in black but, thought it would turn out to look more like a sympathy card. So instead chose to emboss it in clear embossing powder.
Here is a closer look at the embossing.
The tag is actually a wooden tag but, I have learned from previous experiences that the ink bleeds if stamped directly. So I stamped the sentiment on vellum and adhered it to the top.
Added some black hemp cord and clear sequins, which really finished the card.
I used the following stamp set on my card today:
Thank you for stopping by today.
Thanks Irit and Calypso! We hope that you have an amazing weekend! We will be back on Monday with more inspiration and our winner of our blog prize giveaway! With paper hugs, Joanna
