Hey There Crafty Friends! Today, we have VickiΒ & Leah here sharing two bright and bold cards!

We begin with Vicki’s gorgeous thank you card. We love her gorgeous layers and the tag is just beautiful!

Hi All – it’s Vicki here today.Β  I have [what I think is] a super fun card today.

I think what makes it so fun is the Swirling Pinwheels. When using a brad, it twirls! πŸ™‚Β  How fun is that!

I love the way the sentiment from Everyday Greetings stamps so beautifully.Β  So nice and clear. I also am thrilled with the use of the Background Basics 3, script.

Putting a tag on a card is a great way to include a small “gift” for the recipient.Β  Just remember to use removable tape so it comes off, and of course tell person it is removable ;).

So what do you think?

See you in a couple of weeks!

Next up is Leah with this gorgeous nautical card! We love her beautiful colors and stripes! Here’s Leah with her card!

Being summer my thoughts turned to the ocean and nautical themed decor. I grew up in Hawaii and sometimes miss the ocean and beach SO much! I did a bit of looking on Pinterest for inspiration and really loved the elements of horizontal stripes, cream, navy blue and red so that’s what I pulled from for my card.

I pulled out some fabulous Inspired By Stamping sets that were perfect for a nautical theme. I started by stamping my background panel using Background Basics Lines in Memento Luxe ink in Nautical Blue.

My circles were die cut using Fancy Labels 3 and then stamped with Cute Circles. For my sentiment I used one from Big Hope. I thought the faith one was appropriate for a nautical theme, don’t you think?

My focal image was stamped and colored 3 times using the Summer Postcards Add on set. I colored them with Copics. To finish I added some machine stitching and a bit of jute twine. I hope this brightens your day!

Wonderful cards. I like the polka dots and stripes and fun idea to make the pinwheel spin on the first one. Love nautical themed cards–great design with the circles and stripes and I like the stitching.
