Happy Friday Friends! It is so amazing that I have been in the USA for almost 3 weeks now. The time has flown so quickly. It has been amazing and so special. And don’t forget the shopping! Hehe!
Today, we have two senior designers with us! Both, Irit and Kendra have been with us since the beginning of Inspired by Stamping! It is such a blessing to have them with us today too! Up first is our talented designer Kendra with a bold and exquisite black and red card! Her details are out of this world gorgeous and I think you will love it too!
Happy Friday Sweet Inspired By Stamping Friends!
Kendra here from Luv 2 Scrap and Make Cards with a beautiful Birthday card!
My father-in-law recently called me and asked me to create a special birthday card for my mother-in-law for him to give her. No problem!
She LOVES roses, so I instantly thought of the Flowers Bloom set!
The “Happy Birthday” sentiment is from the Fancy Sentiments set!
I also stamped tiny butterflies around the sentiment and embossed with clear embossing powder. The butterfly is from the Butterfly Wings set.
I just LOVE the rose image! So fun to color!
And the finished inside:
I love, love, love the Birthday Greetings set! So many lovely sentiments to use for the inside of your cards!!
I also used the single rose in the Flowers Bloom set!
Next up Irit is sharing a card that is not only unique but rich in texture too! Her colors are bold and very trendy. Here is Irit with her card!
So I added two more trends: Mixed Media background and recycling. The background was made with a mask and texture paste over a patterned paper and then misted over the dry paste.
The sentiment tag is pure recycling: I loved this outfit tag colors and shape and it was perfect for this card. The pinwheels stamp was misted too after heat embossing. ~Irit
We hope you have a beautiful weekend. Especially if you are in the USA enjoying the gorgeous summer weather. There isn’t anything like a Michigan summer. I am in love with the smells and sights of Michigan! Here is a picture of the Holland Lighthouse below.
Have a wonderful weekend! With Paper Hugs, Joanna
