Up first is our talented Leah sharing a bright and cheery summer card using our Summer Mason Jar set! We love all her details. Here’s Leah!
Hello wonderful friends! Leah here today and I don’t know about you but I love fruit! I love to eat just fruit, eat it with cheese and in smoothies 🙂 I thought I’d pull out an older set to create a colorful, sweet card that would surely brighten someone’s day.
I started with a piece of white cardstock and my Mason Jar Summer Add On stamp set and got to stamping all the sweet fruit in happy colors. Once I was happy with all my fruit I filled in any gaps I had left with some of the smaller flowers from Little Flowers. I selectively inked the flowers I wanted to use. I then mounted my stamped panel on some hounds tooth patterned paper from the Spring Lilacs paper pad.
After I was done I didn’t want to cover up the entire panel I’d just made, so I pulled out Fancy Labels 3 dies and cut the double ended banner and stamped the coordinating Petite Banners sentiment on it.
To finish it I wrapped some twine around the base and added a few rhinestones. I hope you enjoyed my card and I hope you have a sweet day!
Next, Kylie is sharing a beautiful wall plaque with us! Her details are so soft and romantic! Absolutely beautiful! Here is Kylie.
Firstly, I prepared by wall plaque (bought from Spotlight) by giving it a light sand, painting it with gesso and once dry, acrylic paint.
I used a lot of die cuts and stamps for this plus all these beautiful flowers.
As you can see I have kept things quite neutral so the colour of the flowers really pop off the plaque.
Below you can see more detail of the stamps that I have used.
Vintage Tickets have been added in the top right hand corner.
And here is the Sweet Aviary set
Lots of glossy accents was used for this creation. A spray of gloss sealer finishes everything off!
We hope you have enjoyed today’s blog post! Today is a very special day as it is my daughter’s, Tessa, 13th birthday. A very happy birthday to a very special, gentle and lovely daughter. I couldn’t be anymore proud of the beautiful young lady that she has become! Happy Birthday!
We found some of my Mom’s old high school clothes that fit Tessa perfectly! How fun to know that they are the same size! xoxo
