Happy Monday Friends! And for all my USA friends, Happy Memorial Day! Mynnette and Rebecca are sharing fun and inspiring projects today featuring a few new release sets! We know that you will love them, especially those that are kicking of the summer season!
Mynnette is sharing a great idea featuring the Swirling Pinwheels set. This would look so fabulous on a picnic table as a centerpiece or a great giveaway at a party! We love this idea and Mynnette’s bright and cheerful colors that she used too! Take it away, Mynnette!
Helllloooooo! It’s me again, ready with another project using some fun new products from our most recent release! This time, I’ve got a fun centerpiece idea for you. This would work really well with for a birthday party or for any type of summer occasion! Take a peek!
The first thing I did was stamp a bunch of the different sized pinwheels from the Swirling Pinwheels set in primary colors and then cut them out. I layered them together and added a brad in the middle.
Each pinwheel was then put onto a fun paper straw. They were all placed into a pail of beans–the weight keeps the centerpiece from blowing away but is easy to put things into and take them out afterwards for safe storage!
A tag with the sentiment from the Swirling Pinwheels set was added to the largest pinwheel in the trio. Some ribbon and a bow was then added around the bucket to tie colors, etc., together.
That’s all for me today! I hope you like my project and that you hop over to the Inspired By Stamping store to grab these goodies today! HUGS and happy stamping to you all!
Next up we have the super talented designer, Rebecca. She created a gorgeous card featuring our Basket of Flowers set! We love her colors and details throughout! Here is Rebecca sharing her card with us!
Hello and welcome! I have a card to share with you today that uses the new IBS stamp set, ‘Basket of Flowers‘. I love the way this one turned out!…
This stamp set is a very simple one to color…or not! Since I love to color, of course I reached for my alcohol markers. The design however, made it a quick job. I chose 3 shades to use on the flowers and began by making a circle in the middle of each flower, surrounding it with the medium shade and finished by filling in the outermost petals with the lightest shade. I should say that the center is a circle and the surrounding colors are more oval shaped rings than circles! By letting each color slightly overlap the preceding one, they appear ‘blended’, though I didn’t spend any time actually blending them. The leaves used 3 shades as well and I love the look of warm and cool greens together, so I did that here. The basket is also three shades…
Two multi-looped bows made from two different die effects are adhered at right angles for a very full effect and the sentiment is simply stamped and accented with two half pearls. This was a simple and fun card to make.
Thanks for stopping by and I’ll be back soon~
Sending you blessings and ((hugs)),
A special thank you to Rebecca and Mynnette for creating with us today! Thank you for stopping by too!
