Last week, Kendra shared a great new technique on dyeing your ribbon or crochet trim. There is still one more week to try this technique! One winner will receive Free Shipping to our store! Click Here for details!

First up today is the talented Rebecca featuring a beautiful soft and romantic card! We love all her shabby details! Here is Rebecca!

“Hello and welcome!  Today’s card began with a favorite quote from Inspired By Stampings set called, ‘Vintage Roses‘.  For years, I have been collecting quotes and I was so pleased to find this one, by Jane Austin in this stamp set…

I stamped it with medium brown ink on a softly patterned paper and then mounted it on a die cut frame.  White acrylic paint was casually added to the edges with my finger for a distinctively feminine version of distressing…

A resin swirl and hand dyed flowers add dimension and  visually support the sentiment plaque…

A scalloped edge was punched from patterned paper, four times to create the frame.  Another sheet of patterned paper was added beneath that and then layered onto a panel of hand dyed cheesecloth before being mounted onto the card stock…

A double and triple bow were adhered together to create the long streamers.  One of my beloved gossamer butterflies landed in the middle!  I’m in a very creative mood today, so I’m off to clear my workspace and dive into another project!

Wishing you a wonderful day and sending you ((hugs)) and blessings,

Next up is Marzena with this lovely card folder book. We love her white on white details and beautiful ribbon! Here is Marzena sharing this special card.

“Hello once again IBS fans, this is Marzena.

This is a very special project for me and made for a special person and a great woman who is passing through a very hard times. I’ve made it just to encourage her and let her know she has friends thinking of her every time.

This is a set of a card/folder/book – just don’t know how to call it… with a box.

I have made it in white – light grey – ecru just to keep it bright and fresh.

Every page has a sentiment saying important things I wanted her to know.

I found the Everyday greetings stamp set just perfect for that.

So happy I could use it. The sentiments were just what I wanted to say.
