Inspired by Stamping, joanna Munster, Whimsical Banners stamp set, Chalkboard Birthday stamp set, Happy Birthday Card

We begin today with a fun birthday card using bright and bold colors against my white cardstock. To begin, I layered two pieces of white cardstock and lifted them with foam dimensions. To create this lovely embossing effect, I didn’t use as many layers on my big shot so the die did not cut all the way through. The effect is so amazing! I used the Die-Versions Quatrefoil Background Die.

Next, I cut out the “It’s Your Day” Banner die from Die-Versions and added our Whimsical Banners stamp set behind it. This was such a fun and easy way to add a little more to this already adorable sign.

I then added this “Happy Birthday” sentiment from our Chalkboard Birthday’s stamp set and added some baker’s twine and a little red flower button.

For the inside of my card, I used our Birthday Greetings Stamp set and Whimsical Banners set. I love how our Birthday Greetings sentiment is perfect for the inside of our cards with larger sentiments.

Next up, is a great card featuring our Vintage Floral Paper Pad, Spring Lilacs stamp set and A Lovely Birthday stamp set.

Here’s a great close up of the Quatrefoil Background Die. This time, I cut the paper all the way through with my Big Shot. This effect is so beautiful. I love how it also cuts out your piece of paper to the perfect layering size too.

I colored my Spring Lilacs flowers using Copic Markers. Next, I distressed the card and used my finger nail to rough up the edges.

This sentiment and frame can be found in our A Lovely Birthday stamp set. I am also using some seam binding ribbon and our Scallop Border Crochet Trim too.

My last project is this adorable purse. It is my first time making a purse and I had such a blast! I got the pattern from the Silhouette store and it was easy peesy cutting this shape out and putting it together!

For the front of my purse, I am using our Spring Lilacs Paper Pad. I love the softness and subtleness of our paper line. Butterfly Punch Border from Die Versions created this adorable border.

For my flower, I used some more Spring Lilacs paper and another flower pattern from the Silhouette. After cutting out the flower, I dabbed the edges with distress ink. For some more glam, I added a huge pearl and little rhinestones around it for the center of my flower. This fabulous leaf was sprinkled with glitter glass in bronze color.

Inspired by Stamping Creative Tags Stamp Set

For my final touches, I added glitter around the handles of my purse. Here is a little sneak peek of some ribbon that just arrived in our store this week. What do you think? I then added this “With Love” tag from our Creative Tags stamp set. I had some little butterflies from the butterfly border die left over so I glued them onto my purse. I love how they turned out!

I hope that you have enjoyed today’s blog hop! And I especially hope that you have felt very inspired with all the beautiful inspirations from all 22 amazing and talented designers!

Great bloghop, so much inspiration from two wonderful companies.
Spring is all about the warmer weather and wildflowers coming up after the cooler months of winter. I’m looking forward to Spring already as we head into a late Autumn and Winter.
