Happy Friday Friends! As we gear up for the weekend, Mynnette and myself have a few cards to leave you inspired! Hopefully, you will find some time to get crafty this weekend? Mynnette, has a gorgeous canvas! The colors absolutely speak Spring and the sentiment is perfect from our Words of Inspiration stamp set. Next, I have spent the morning in my craft room and have two cards to share below! A wonderful Friday to the start of the weekend!

Hi, all!  I’ve got something WAY different for me personally to share with you today!  Of course, I’ve used some amazing products from the Inspired By Stamping store to create it!  I do hope you’ll like it as much as I do!

Here’s the whole canvas.  I started by prepping it with some white gesso and then after it was dried, adding texture and color with a stencil, more gesso, and ink.  Some papers from the Vintage Floral Paper Pad also helped to form a corner frame.

Next, I turned to a sentiment.  I wanted this wall hanging to be something I could either keep somewhere close or give away for inspiration.  A sentiment from the Words of Inspiration set was the perfect choice.  I stamped it onto some more patterned paper from the Vintage Floral Paper Pad.  A few pearls in three of the corners completed this portion of the canvas.

Next up was what to accent the sentiment with.  Flowers seemed the natural choice.  I used some larger die cut and made flowers and then I added a few mixed small flowers, some pearls and rhinestones, and some metal pieces into the mix.  All of this was layered on top of a few punched out leaf sprays.

The main focal point was complete.  I also added some glitter to the edges of the flowers for some added interest.  I added some Mod Podge to the leaves and sentiment panel for added stability as well.  The floral pieces and other embellies were glued on with hot glue.

Here’s a last look at the canvas.  Thank you so much for stopping by to take a peek at it!  I hope that it inspires you to try something NEW and that you grab these goodies from the Inspired By Stamping store, too!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all!

Supply list: Vintage Floral Paper Pad, Words of Inspiration set, mixed small flowers

Thank you Mynn for creating such a lovely canvas using our stamps! Next up, is me! It was wonderful to hop into the craft room today and get crafty. The time seems to far and between nowadays but when it does happen, I treasure those moments. This is what I came up with!

Inspired by Stamping, Hexagons, Happy Occasions Sentiments, Vintage Banners

My first card today is using a technique that I keep seeing around pinterest. You stamp on white card stock and then emboss over it. I just love the look and feel of a simple CAS card but with such great texture.

I grabbed our Hexagons stamp set and stamped these images on our Hexagon Cut File and the made these hexagon shapes. I ended up gluing each shape down because it gave me a chance to move the hexagons around before they adhered to the white card stock.

After the hexagons dried, I then ran it through the Big Shot using a lines and polka dot embossing folder. I love using both folders as it created such a beautiful texture to the card.

For my final touches, I used our Happy Occasions Sentiments & Vintage Banners set and placed the banner at the base of my card. I didn’t want to take up too much space with ribbon so I added some hemp twine instead.

For my second card today, I went with soft colors of peach and blue. These are such romantic colors and are just so feminine.

I used our Cute Circles and Trendy Circle Sentiments stamp sets for my card. Between these two sets there is an endless amount of combinations. After stamping and using the our Cute Circles Cut File & Big Shot to cut them out, I added little pearls around the circle image.

Peach Daisies and Off White Flowers were used on the corner of my card. I also added a strip of White Crochet Tape along the bottom for a bit more softness.

I hope that you have enjoyed todays cards. Have a wonderful weekend everyone! We will be back here on Monday with the winner of our blog candy and new inspirations! Hugs, Joanna
