First up is Vicki sharing a great box featuring our Spring Lilacs paper pad and Everyday Greetings set. This is such a great holder for our notes and pens! Here is Vicki sharing her box with us!
I have another fun project for you all today.
Isn’t this just fun! I love it and it is sitting by my computer being used :).
I will be making more of these awesome paper holders, and I am thinking a calendar on the front would work perfectly too!
See you next month~
Next, Mynnette is sharing this lovely gift box and card set featuring our Sweet Pea stamp set. We love all her purple details and the lovely pearls throughout! Here is Mynnette sharing her project with us!
“Hi, friends! It’s time for another post from me for the Inspired By Stamping blog! They use some brand new stamps from our latest release and I just KNOW you’re gonna love them! Hop over to the Inspired By Stamping store to grab them now!
I started my process by choosing a color scheme. I LOVE the new Sweet Peas set and so I knew I’d use that, and after some research on what colors sweet peas can be, I found that my favorite color, purple, was an option! So, of course that’s what I went with! I paired the purple and images with some beautiful turquoise and cream polka dot paper from the Spring Lilacs paper. I then decided on kraft for my neutral base, and voila! PERFECT!
I started first by creating the candy gift bag. I took a piece of 4.25″ by 11″ piece of kraft paper and scored it at 1″, 5″, 6″, and 7″. I then added a strip of paper from the Spring Lilacs paper pad, some ribbon, a bow, and some pearls.
Next, I moved to the bottom panel. I stamped the smaller Sweet Pea image from the Sweet Peas set, colored it in, punched it out, layered it, glittered it and added it to a banner with a sentiment from the same Sweet Peas set. This was put onto another panel with the same polka dot paper from the Spring Lilacs paper pad. A smattering of pearls completed the bottom of this “bag”.
Finally, I added some delicious candies packaged in a cellophane bag to the inside. You could also put other smallish gifts into a holder like this as well. Perhaps a few small seed packets would fit in this section as well!
I then decided I needed to make a matching card. It’s always fun to receive things that match, right?! And the card was the way to show off the larger image from the Sweet Peas set as well as another one of the sentiments!
I stamped the large image from the Sweet Peas set onto some card stock, colored it in, layered it with some deep purple card, and added glitter.
That’s it for me today, friends! I hope you like my gift giving idea and that you grab the sets I’ve used from the store! Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping to you all!
