“Happy Friday Inspired By Stamping Friends! Kendra here from Luv 2 Scrap N’ Make Cards to share some lovely inspiration!
I know a bunch of people who are expecting, so I thought I would take the opportunity to use the lovely Oh, Baby! set to create a card and tag for a baby shower I will be attending this weekend.
I just love the Oh, Baby! set, so many fun baby elements!
A closer look at the card:
And the tag:
I have to admit, that this is the first time that I have ever created a matching card and tag for a gift! Crazy, right? Usually they don’t always match!
Hope you have a lovely day!

“Hello everyone~ Spring is popping up with it’s little signs and shifts…the birds calling to each other, the poppy leaves growing by leaps and bounds and the lengthening days have lead me to ‘fluff up my own nest’. A beautiful, distressed, clip hanger has been in my crafting room for a long time, just waiting for some inspiration! It arrived when some ‘Spring Lilacs‘ papers met a gorgeous vintage image…
The vintage image sits behind a wooden frame that was purchased at a big box craft store, painted white, sanded along some edges and then treated to some pale green ink to highlight the edges…
Beneath the frame is a die cut layer of patterned lilacs paper. The outer edge was touched with a dull lavender distress ink and mounted onto a card stock of lilac…
Those layers were adhered to a larger die cut oval of green and white, Spring Lilacs paper and once again, the pale green ink was applied to the outer edge. Some small millinery violets were tucked into the scrolled wood frame and onto the clips. An alcohol ink marker was used to color some narrow silk ribbon before it became a multi-looped bow that embellishes one of the clips and adds some much needed asymmetry to an otherwise very symmetrical piece…
This vintage image is so charming and the Spring Lilacs collection is so perfect to enhance her beauty! I’m including this copyright free image below and hope you enjoy creating with it as much as I have~
Sending you ((hugs)) and blessings,
Wow, beautiful cards by both Kendra and Rebecca right!!! Now, it’s my turn (Calypso)to share my card with you this week. With Spring approaching, that means flowers…flowers and even more flowers will be in bloom. I am looking forward to my garden blossoming with the sweet fragrance and colors of my Crocus, Iris, Tulips and Daffodils. While I wait, I will continue to play with my beautiful Vintage Roses stamp set!!
For my card today, I am playing along with one of the color combination and the card sketch, for this weeks National Craft Month Challenge. I love working with sketches and could not pass up the opportunity to play along. The sentiment “Love” comes from the Little Flowers stamp set. Another gorgeous floral stamp set, that coordinates with any and all the floral stamps in the IBS collection.
I did some fussy cutting and adhered the gorgeous Rose on a wooden doily!! Love adding that natural elements to my floral cards. It really completes the look and feel of the card.
We hope you have a wonderful weekend! Thank you Kendra, Calypso and Rebecca for the beautiful projects using our stamp sets today. We hope that you have felt inspired to get in the craft room this weekend to create. Don’t forget to add a card or tag to our card challenge. We begin a new challenge on Monday and the winner of our blog candy! With paper hugs and love, Joanna
