So…a few weeks ago we changed the toy room into my craft room. Today was the second time creating in my new space. I am still tweaking a few things, as I found once you start working in a new space some things just didn’t work where I put them! I will be sharing photos on Instagram & Facebook soon!

Here’s my new banner that will go into my new craft room! I also purchased “Inspire” letters to hang on the wall next to this! I am so excited how it turned out.

I used our new Vintage Floral 6×6 paper pad and some wooden banner blocks that I purchased back in December. I first traced over each banner with the paper and adhered my paper using some decoupage glue.

After the glue dried, I added our Scallop Border Crochet Trim to the top of each banner.

6 scallop circles and 6 circles were cut out using my big shot. After distressing each circle, I then stitched around the circles. I love the effect that this creates.

My Silhouette Cameo cut out each letter perfectly! Love that machine! I used extra heavy card stock that I received as a gift this year from my brother-in-law. He is in the printing business and gave me some off cuts of cardstock.

Tip: To get the glitter extra thick on each letter: After the first layer of glitter & glue had dried, I then painted glue over the glitter again and sprinkled more glitter of the top of this. The effect is amazing and super thick, perfect for making my banner really sparkle!

Here are close-ups of every letter!

I loved creating each letter individually with its own decorations. I cut out the butterflies using my cameo. The ribbon is from our store and I used some brass trinkets that I had in my drawers. I am not sure if I will add anymore as I love the simplicity of this banner. What do you think?

Thank you for stopping by! Please leave a comment.

We will be back tomorrow with more inspirations and crafty ideas! A special thank you to Nicole for creating such a great CAS card and tutorial!

With love, Joanna

The banner is lovely, but I still wonder what might be hiding behind those incredibly gorgeous pieces!
