Beautiful Iris and our new Vintage Floral Paper coordinate beautifully together in Kylie’s card. The colors are bold and bright and we love her rolled flowers too! All the elements and layers she used have made this beautiful Thinking of You card! Here’s Kylie sharing her card with us!
“Hi there everyone! Thanks for popping in today. I have a card to share with you that I have made using the gorgeous Vintage Floral Paper pad. The paper in this pad is just beautiful! The designs are so nice to work with and it is easy to use it for other things other than your backgrounds.
I have distressed and inked all the edges of my paper.
I decided to make further use of the paper to create some rolled flowers. I simply cut a 3 x 3 inch square and then rounded the corners with a punch. I drew a spiral on the plain side of the paper and cut it out. Using tweezers, I rolled my spiral into a flower and secured with glossy accents. I manipulated the flowers until they were in the shape I liked. This is a perfect way to add embellishments to match your project.
I HAD to add some butterflies. The Butterfly Wings set has so many to choose from! I have stamped them and then cut them out with scissors. I have popped them up with dimensionals.
I hope you like my card showing you how to incorporate using the Vintage Floral Paper to create your own embellishments. See you soon! Kylie xx”

Next, we have a fabulous idea for Valentine’s Day! Lisa has created a beautiful heart box filled with tea bags! This is Lisa’s first post and she has definitely wowed us with her talent today! Here is Lisa sharing her project with us!
“Hi everyone, Lisa here. I am excited to make my first IBS DT post. I am a big tea drinker and love to make and give tea-related gifts. Today I am sharing a Valentine’s Day Tea for Two project:
The top of the heart-shaped box (empty chocolate box) was covered with paper from the new Vintage Floral paper pad. The sentiment, stamped on paper from that pack, is from the Just Because stamp set. I sponged the edges of the box and sentiment.
I ran ribbon through the Vintage Crochet Trim and used hot glue to adhere it around the sides of the box.
What says romance like chocolates and monogrammed heart-shaped tea bags! The chocolates were wrapped with Vintage Floral Paper. I fussy-cut the bird and butterfly, and added them to the chocolates with dimensionals. After cutting, sewing, and filling the tea bags, I personalized the tea bag tags with the Fancy Alphabet stamp set.
A big thank you to Kylie and Lisa for creating with us today! We hope that you loved the projects that were shared on today’s post! Don’t forget to leave a comment this week for a chance to win some blog candy! We will be back tomorrow with Kendra and Rebecca’s projects! Have a wonderful crafty day! With Love, Joanna and the IBS Team
