As January comes to an end this week, we are sharing gorgeous inspirations using our new release items! First, Rose has a beautiful thinking of you card filled with beautiful details and coloring! Next, Leah shares with us a lovely vintage birdhouse that would look lovely in anyone’s home! Here’s Rose sharing her card with us!
“Rose here with a card I made using some of the beautiful January release stamps and papers. You can also purchase Silhouette cut files for the stamp sets. Makes it superfast and easy when you want to pop an image on foam tape to make it stand out!
Love how the Vintage Ticket can be used as the sentiment. The beautiful roses are from Vintage Roses and the pretty paper is from Spring Lilacs 6×6 paper pad. Here is a close up of the Rose so you can see what a wonderful job Joanna did drawing these!! I love how they are so easy to color. Seriously all you have to do is color with a light color then use a darker color to highlight where the detail lines are!! yup so easy even I can do it and I am not a “coloring girl”
Next, Leah has a wonderful vintage birdhouse to share with us. This project is simply beautiful and showcases how lovely our Spring Lilacs stamp set is. Here is Leah sharing with us her birdhouse.
“Hope you all have a wonderful crafty day!!
Hello! Leah here with a shabby chic birdhouse to share with you. I have an affinity for birds, bird houses and the like so I really enjoyed this fun little project that may or may not be gifted to someone in the future 🙂 The new Inspired By Stamping sets were perfect for a bird themed project and after I purchased a fun cut file from the Silhouette store I was ready to go.
I chose to work with the Spring Lilacs stamp set and paper padwhich are both gorgeous. I cut the bird house base from kraft cardstock and then stamped the script on it in kraft ink. After the decorative paper panels were cut I stamped the flying bird from the Spring Lilacsset onto each panel. I then added just a bit of the large lilac image to each. For the bird on the front of the house I stamped it onto kraft paper with a dark cocoa ink. This birdhouse is actually a box that opens, so the roof section is adhered altogether and slides off the top.
Thank you to Rose and Leah for creating with us today! Their inspirations were simply beautiful. Thank you for visiting us. Please don’t forget to check out our blog candy this week! We are giving away one of our January Kits. Click Here for details.
