Happy Thursday crafty friends! Irit and Leah today are sharing two beautiful shabby chic cards featuring our new paper pads and collections! I am so excited to share with you today’s cards!
First we want to announce our winner of last week’s WHW tutorial on making patterned paper! The entries were so beautiful this week! Thank you for sharing your cards and designs with us!
Don’t forget our WHW tutorial, January blog hop, IBSIC and Customer Gallery Challenges are currently underway! We’d love for you to join us this week!
We begin with Leah’s gorgeous Spring Lilacs card. You can see the beautiful embossing and how she incorporated our beautiful Spring Lilacs paper pad. I adore how she used our Fancy Labels 1 die and stamped beautiful layers to created her focal point image. It doesn’t take a lot of time to create a breathtaking card like this one. It’s also guaranteed to brighten the day of someone you love! Here’s Leah sharing all her beautiful details!
“Hi! Leah here and I am very excited to share the card I made with you today! When I was deciding what to create with the brand new Inspired By Stamping sets I had the thought that a collage of several images together would be so pretty, so that’s what I set about doing.
Inspired by Stamping - Leah Cornelius - Spring Lilacs Collection
I started by choosing my paper which comes from the new Spring Lilacs paper pad. I die cut the focal panel using Fancy Labels I and then got to stamping. I first stamped the bird on the branch image from Spring Lilacs, masked it off and stamped the lovely ticket image from Vintage Tickets with the bird cage. I made a mask for that image and added the 3 butterflies also from Spring Lilacs. I went back in with the delicate script stamp and added some distress inks to my finished panel. I colored my images with Copic markers.

I finished my card off with fabric tapelittle leaves, and a cherry blossom. I hope you’ve enjoyed my creation today! ~ Leah”

Next we are going to share a lovely shabby chic card by Irit. She lives in Israel and has just received her paper pads! She ‘s featuring our Vintage Floral Paper pad and the sentiment from Vintage Roses stamp set. Her distressed edges, pearls and beautiful layers would be joy to any loved one. Here is Irit sharing her card with us today.

“Yes! IBS now produce paper pads that are made especially to coordinate with our new stamp set

I used a few papers from the new paper pad- some just trimmed and some die cut (doily and lace dies). Then I added adhesive lace, hand cut a few roses out of the paper and made this vertical cluster

The last, but not the least ,was this stamped sentiment I love a lot and then I decided to look for a chipboard that fits the circled sentiment size and Bingo, I found this clock with a bird in my stash. A few pearls were added over the card and I really like the final result. Hope you like it too. And now run to IBS shop and buy this delicious set .I just used one stamp, but all of those stamps are MUST TO HAVE

And don’t forget the paper pad- it’s so easy to make a lot of lovely projects when you use the coordinating paper and stamps. Irit”
